march 10th damn Goa beach dogs wont leave us alone lol ; Japan EathQuake!!

march 10th

woke up around 7am had tea with Monika and my dad over the ocean view...hit the beach for a nice walk ..we found a bunch of nice sea shells...while walking these two dogs kept running up to us...so it was on and off fear of getting attacked (though we think they just wanted to play)... came back to the room dropped off the shells.

went and had our breakfast in hotels lounge area over the beach (very nice)...
checked back at the hotel..got ready for some lounging on the beach...
hopped in the ocean ...we rode some waves...i found a bunch of nice conch shells...
Monika and i relaxed on the lounge chairs which my dad and i moved into the shade.
very relaxing we fell asleep
needed Monika to guide me back to room i lost contacts.
once back we showered and headed for lunch back at Raoul restaurant on the beach for more Goa pawn curry and batter fried squid...after that we did a bit of shopping then we got ready to head to a Panjem for a sunset boat ride.

words come by to us unknowing (Monika and i haven't known the date and time for weeks lol) that a 8.8 earthquake has struck japan and there's tsunami warnings all over the world!

march 9th

woke up early Monika still sleeping
dad and i had tea and biscuits on the balcony over the sea view.
walked with dad while Monika slept.. saw crabs over where we went walking hiding in the rocks....saw monkeys in the trees as we reached our room..when we got back we woke Monika up..got ready for breakfast..at breakfast we once again faced the terrible slow and unresponsive service...i swear i must of asked at-least 4-5 people for a bottle water lol..which ended up being $4usd for one.

we came back and changed to hit the beach...at the beach we relaxed under the lifeguards straw hut..very relaxing...there we found a huge bunch of seaweed which we posed with as hair and a mermaid necklace lol... the old British people next to us also found it hilarious and posed with it.

for lunch we hit the restaurant on the beach...there we dealt with our slow service but nontheless good food and a nice view..we met our server Rahul who said he was going to set us up with a beach package.

came back to the room and had a very relaxing nap

had a delicious fresh seafood dinner at doms... the kid undercharged us...showed us live fish.

left palace on wheels said bye to the Chopras
gave Shilpa her necklace...kind of embarrassing because i wanted to give it to her in private but my dad made an announcement at breakfast that i wanted to give her something ugh lol
saw them in airport had lunch with them..
got on the plane for Goa..
exhausted reached the beautiful hotel Monika loved it...
got to pick our room
rested ...Monika and i hit the beach for a bit..very fun. saw cows on the beach!

ate dinner at johns..had seafood and sweet and sour port very good but slow ass service!

we all woke up too damn early (5am) to go see the bird sanctuary.
(rode with Chopra mom) very beautiful way to wake up.
Monika mentioned how Shilpa is looking for marriage.. joked about match.com over breakfast

Shopra mom gave Monika her jacket off her back and deemed her as a daughter.

after breakfast we relaxed and prepared to board the bus to view the Taj fort...

starting to feel pretty sad the trips ending is coming along...let alone palace on wheels is ending..everyone was just starting to get along very well..and as uncle Elvis put it become more like family.

today we met for a quick breakfast...i seemed to have misplaced the safe key..
our tour guide looks intense..hes sweating as he talks about Joitpor
the temple we first saw was very beautiful..
today we checked to see if Mr sing only knows my name..Monika was right lol... chipmunk ask if i should go by Shaun or Chaan (meaning great)..Shelpa said she likes both lol.

Monika wore her Taj Mahal clothing...

Monika bored with palace...got yelled at by tour ago...

walking up steep palace hill... dad got tired...wanted to head back to train...spent an hour walking around the palace and museum ...till dad finally told Mr. Sinh that he wanted to go back to the train to take it easy....everyone was concerned for dads health.dad felt embarrassed...Mr. Singh was very helpful and even said he would take care of dad as he was his own dad... he mentioned how he was worried Monika felt sad because of dad and said she reminds him of his own daughter...Mr. sing got us a car and driver to take us back..on the way we did some sd card shopping.

the Shopra mom taught me "Jai she Krishna" which means praise Krishna.

as we made our way back to the train..we saw Ashok and tipped the driver good bye.

once in the room dad quickly found his way to the bed.as he rested Monika and i began to tear apart the room searching for the safe key...after searching and reorganizing i finally found it in the carry on "community bag" which i must of misplaced it the night before when i was exhausted.after it was found i opened the safe (and thank god i didn't have to pick the lock which i tried first)...checked if the new sd worked in my camera (which it did!)..celebrated in relief..Monika and i hung out for a bit bantering and laughing about things.. keeping my dad awake lol.. later we all fell asleep in the room for a while. when i awoke.. i started to organize my bag.
Monika blew hair dryer..scared Ashok.
black lady dressed up everyone was in awe.
everyone was concerned and checked to see if dad was alright.
hung out with Chopras and old man after dinner...talked for an 1 or so...they invited me to stay with them in Brazil and Spain... Shelpa looking for husband.. joked about me dancing on train.. practicing to become like the dancer we saw the day before which i danced with... using glasses and balancing tea cups on my head.
chipmunk joked how i woke him up yo wake me up and i wasn't awake lol.
Shelpa and i took a pic of a guy across the train (a local one)...guy took one of us on pow. very cool! Mr. Chopra got off the train to get mints..didn't mind it moving while he was off haha.

the golden city was beautiful but full of decrepit aspects such as unstructured streets littered with tons of cow dung.
said they use cow urine to coat the buildings to help keep the shine.

the dance dinner was really fun.

i asked Shopra about his charity event the day before.

Elvis protected Monika and i through the streets....the street covered in cow shit.

i was a little sick...but got better today from riding a camel with Shelpa.

Mr sing loves me. tried dragging me up to dance lol.

watching the sunset was really nice with everyone.

did crappy tour guide and took rikshaws back.

we got applauded on board for being late...Monika and i were pissed.
we had a really good tour guide...actually got to learn for once.

we tried taking shots in all the restricted areas of the palace.

we ate lunch in a beautiful palace..the princess was being wed the next day.

we went to the art demo and everyone was in awe.

we all got really good rest.
